Karma... and the Consequences of Greed

Seeing the amount of money being raised and spent on politics this election cycle, money still spent on wars with our neighbors, is obscene.  Considering all the people who are still out of work or forced to take jobs that are not a living wage, or about to have their home foreclosed upon is proof the system is still broken for the common person, the ninety nine percent.  The social safety net is being dismantled piece by piece.

We are all still paying the price for a corrupt few who crashed our economy while lying to investors.  We are all still paying the price for politicians who care more about money than helping people.  We are all still paying the price for those who continue to trash our environment for short term gain.

I hope that the one percent who have enough good food to eat, a comfortable place to rest from the days issues, health care and medicines for when they are ill, entertainment that some of us can only dream of, will consider what our leaders are doing and act.

This is an unsustainable course we are ALL on at present unless we wake up and change.  There is still time... but will we changeDo we care about our children and those who will inherit this world we live on?
